With a little more contrarianism this week, final scores ranged from Control the Ladder’s five from nine to Bookie Knows Best’s and ENS_Linear’s eight from nine, all of which left MARS_Marg still in 1st place and now on 35 from 45 (78%) but only two tips clear of Bookie Knows Best, ENS_Linear, and MoSHPlay_Marg.
The all-Tipster average score came in at 6.8 from 9, taking the season figure to 31.6 from 45 (71%)..

MoSHBODS is even further below the bookmakers this week with its all-game expected Total of 176 points per game contrasting with the 184 and 185 points per game views of the TAB and Sportsbet.
In fact, MoSHBODS’ expected Total for every game is lower than that of both bookmakers for the same game.

There’s been something of a coming together this week in the Totals forecasting of MoSHBODS and the bookmakers, with MoSHBODS actually coming in higher in a few games.
That said, some large differences remain, and MoSHBODS has come in about half-a-goal under the bookmakers when averaged across all games.

The all-Tipster average score came in at 4.7 from 7, taking the season figure to 14.1 from 21 (67%).

MoSHPlay is sticking with its bold prediction of the Dogs by 26 points tonight, and has fresh, but still preliminary, views about the Sunday games.
MoSHPlay has locked in Hawks by 13 points, and now has preliminary views on the remaining games in the round, including that Fremantle’s margin over Melbourne will be just one point.

The entire round of Totals markets was up before 6pm on Monday, so we’ve locked in, such as it is, earlier than usual.
The bookmakers have clearly decided that the higher scoring we’ve seen in the first 14 games of the season is now a permanent feature, while MoSHBODS has allowed for some overall underlying increase, but not to the same extent.
As such MoSHBODS has lower forecasted Totals in all but one of the seven games, and by as much as 17 points in a single game.
