Five of the eight early-week favourites won this week, but only three of the nine Head-to-Head Tipsters were contrarian free, those being Bookie Knows Best (obviously), ENS_Linear and RSMP_Weighted.

Bookie Knows Best and ENS_Linear remain joint-leaders, now on 85 from 114 (74%) and two tips ahead of MARS_Marg and RSMP_Weighted.

The all-Tipster average score came in at 4.1 from 8, taking the season-long figure to 79.6 from 114 (70%).

Margin prediction was, on average, a little easier this week, with mean absolute errors (MAEs) ranging from Bookie_9’s best of 28.3 points per game to MARS_Marg’s worst of 32.0 points per game.

Bookie_9 still heads the Leaderboard, now by only just under four goals from Bookie_Hcap, who is a further 7 points ahead of Bookie_LPSO. MoSHPlay_Marg remains in last place, and is now over 29 goals behind the leader.

The all-Predictor average for the round was 30.1 points per game, which took the season-long figure to 27.0 points per game.

Log probability scores were all slightly positive this week, with the best from MoSHBODS_Prob and the worst from MARS_Prob. Bookie_LPSO still holds top spot on the Leaderboard, MoSHBODS_Prob lies second, and Bookie_RE retains third. MARS_Prob remains in last place.

WAGERING

Profitability this week was virtually all about the Swans, and their last-gasp goal to fall over the line by 2 points was nowhere near what Investors required.

Thanks to other results, the damage was only minimal.
