2026 - Round 11 Results - The Streak Continues
/Again only five early-week favourites won this week, which meant that two-thirds of the Head-to-Head Tipsters scored exactly that, the exceptions being MoSHPlay_Marg’s four, Consult The Ladders’ three, and Home Sweet Home’s eight.
Bookie Knows Best and ENS_Linear remain joint-leaders on 76 from 99 (76%), one tip ahead of MARS_Marg, and a further tip ahead of the RSMP twins.
The all-Tipster average score came in at 5 from 9, taking the season-long figure to 71.6 from 99 (72%).
Margin prediction was, on average, a little easier this week, with mean absolute errors (MAEs) ranging from Bookie_9’s best of 25.9 points per game to MoSHPlay_Marg’s worst of 31.1 points per game.
Bookie_9 now heads the Leaderboard by just over 43 points from Bookie_Hcap, who is a further 5 points ahead of Bookie_LPSO. MoSHPlay_Marg remains in last place, and is now over 22 goals behind the leader.
The all-Predictor average for the round was 28.5 points per game, which took the season-long figure to 26.4 points per game.
Log probability scores were all slightly positive this week, with the exception of MoSHPlay_Prob whose score was slightly negative. That allowed Bookie_LPSO to take top spot on the Leaderboard, pushing MoSHPlay_Prob into second, with MoSHBODS_Prob retaining third ahead of Bookie_RE. MARS_Prob remains in last place.
WAGERING
Profitability this week was virtually assured after GWS’ 14-goal third term against the Lions despite it simultaneously ensuring that the unders wager on that game was destined to be a loser.
In the end, the Combined Portfolio rose by 2.3c to now be up by over 17c on a +19% ROI and a 0.91 turn.
