MoSHBODS’ average total this week is the same as the bookmakers’, but again the differences for individual games sit on either side of zero and are, in some cases, substantially different.

WAGERS

MoSHBODS fancied eight wagers this week, but had two of them vetoed by the TGTBT rule. One of those - that for the all-feline contest - would, in any case, have been ruled out by the rain rule.

The six surviving wagers comprise four unders totalling just over 5% of the original Overs/Unders Fund, and two overs totalling just over 4% of that same Fund.

The estimated overlays for the wagers range from about 3.6 to 6.7 points.

PREVIOUS WEEK

Last week was a good one for the TAB and saw it take mean absolute error (MAE) honours for Game Margins and Away Team Scores outright, and share Game Totals honours with Sportsbet, who did best outright for Home Team Scores. That had no effect on the season-long leaders for any metric.

The leads in each race are now as follows:

Home Team Scores: TAB 7 points ahead of Sportsbet and 12 points ahead of MoSHBODS
Away Team Scores: Sportsbet 7 points ahead of the TAB, and 104 points ahead of MoSHBODS
Game Totals: Sportsbet 6 points ahead of the TAB, and 218 points ahead of MoSHBODS

Wagering and Game-by-Game Performance

There were three bets last weekend, a single successful overs bet with the TAB, a single successful overs with Sportsbet, and one unsuccessful unders wager with Sportsbet.

That left MoSHBODS at 15 and 13 against the TAB and 4 and 5 against Sportsbet.

Overall, MoSHBODS was on the right side of the TAB and against Sportsbet in only 2 of the 7 games, taking it to 66 from 135 (49%) for the season against the TAB, and 61 from 135 (45%) for the season against Sportsbet.
