WoSHBODS is forecasting six home team wins and three away wins again this week, with one of those forecast home wins and one forecast away win actually underdogs with the bookmakers.

The distribution of WoSHBODS expected margins is as follows:

• Under 2 goals: 5 games

• From 2 to under 4 goals: 4 games

• Over 4 goals: 0 games

The average expected absolute margin is 10 points per game according to WoSHBODS, and 11.8 points per game according to the bookmakers.

Unperturbed by - indeed, unaware of - last weekend’s shemozzle, WoSHBODS is back again this week with a boat load of wagers, albeit small in aggregate.

The table at right documents the usual differences between what I’ve eventually secured versus what I wanted when I first saw the markets

Overall, Investors have a head-to-head interest in eight games, and a line market interest in seven, with the head-to-head bets on two favourite and six underdogs, and the line bets on three favourites and four underdogs.

The head-to-head bets total just over 9% of the original Head-to-Head Fund, as do the line bets 14.5% of the Line Fund.

In total, then, just over 8% of the entire Combined Portfolio is at risk.
