WoSHBODS is again forecasting five home team wins and four away wins again this week, with just one of the WoSHBODS home team favourites (Adelaide) actually an underdog with the TAB.

The distribution of WoSHBODS expected margins is as follows:

• Under 2 goals: 1 game

• From 2 to under 4 goals: 5 games

• Over 4 goals: 3 games

The average expected absolute margin is 22.5 points per game according to WoSHBODS, and 25.6 points per game according to the bookmakers.

The table at right documents the usual differences between what I’ve eventually secured versus what I wanted when I first saw the markets and records considerably more action this week.

Overall, Investors have a head-to-head interest in seven games, and a line market interest in all nine, with the head-to-head bets on six underdogs and one favourite (according to the markets), and the line bets on seven underdogs and two favourites.

The head-to-head bets total just under 12% of the original Head-to-Head Fund, and the line bets just under 17% of the Line Fund.

In total, then, just under 14% of the entire Combined Portfolio is at risk.
