AFLW 2025 - Round 14 - Week 2 of the Finals

According to the bookmakers, the second week of the AFLW Finals comprises two games expected to produce a single-digit victory margin.

Below are WoSHBODS’ thoughts, which sees both favourites winning, but Melbourne by just under 4 goals, and Carlton by only a couple of points.

WoSHBODS Wagering

Investors have head-to-head wagers in both games totalling just over 4% of the original Head-to-Head Fund, virtually all of it on Melbourne at $1.42.

Those are paired with q single set of line wagers on Melbourne, totalling 3.6% of that Fund. (We wanted 3.8%, but had to settle for only some at our preferred line of -9.5, and some more at -10.5)

Combined, that means that only around 3.5% of the entire Combined Portfolio is again at risk this weekend.

We can see how that risk is spread across games and teams by referring to the Ready Reckoner at right.

Clearly, a Melbourne win by 11 points or more is by far the most important outcome.
