AFLW 2025 - Round 5 Results - Right Sign

WoSHBODS, like the TAB, tipped only four from nine winners this week, while Sportsbet managed five.

WoSHBODS also recorded a Margin MAE of just 25.3 points per game (compared to 24.9 and 25.2 for the bookmakers) and a Totals MAE of 12.6 points per game (compared to 16.9 for both bookmakers).

The LPS of -2.4 bits compares to -2.4 and -2.5 bits for the bookmakers.

The cumulative season-long results appear below.

Overall, we’re now at 69% accuracy for the season, 26.2 Margin MAE, and 18.1 Totals MAE, which remains very acceptable.

WAGERS

Both the Head-to-Head and Line Funds recorded a profit this week that, collectively, offset a loss by the Overs/Under Fund and raised the Combined Portfolio by just over 1c.

At weeks’ end, that Combined Portfolio is now down by just under 6c on a -10% ROI and a 0.6 turn.

(NB: An earlier version of this blog had the Overs/Unders Fund also returning a profit, but it turns out that 65 + 36 is 101, not 91 as I mentally calculated …)
