One favourite won and one lost in the inaugural Wildcard Round, which saw RSMP_Simple as the only Head-to-Head Tipster bagging two from two. That elevated it into fifth place, but left Bookie Knows Best and ENS_Linear still five tips in the lead atop the Head-to-Head Tipsters’ Leaderboard, now on 157.5 from 209 (75%).

The all-Tipster average score came in at 0.8 from 2, taking the season-long figure to 147.6 from 209 (71%).

Margin prediction was, on average, much easier this week, with mean absolute errors (MAEs) ranging from RSMP_Simple’s best of 9.9 points per game to MoSHPlay_Marg’s worst of 18.1 points per game.

Bookie_LPSO remains in top spot and still just over four goals ahead of RSMP_Weighted, with Bookie_Hcap just over 1 point further back. MoSHPlay_Marg remains in last place, now by just over 32 goals.

The all-Predictor average for the round was 12.4 points per game and took the season-long figure to 25.1 points per game.

Log probability scores were all positive this week for the bookie-based models and negative for the MoS-based. All three bookie-based model scores were essentially identical, and worst was MoSHPlay_Prob.

Bookie_LPSO still holds top spot with Bookie_RE now in second ahead of MoSHPlay_Prob. MARS_Prob remains in last place.

None of the Funds made money this week, which left nowhere to go for the Combined Portfolio.
