2026 - Round 20 Results - It Started Well

Seven of the nine early-week favourites won this week, but there was enough contrarian tipping for five of the Head-to-Head Tipsters this week to record eight, including ENS_Linear, who is now the outright leader on 129.5 from 171 (76%). Bookie Knows Best sits outright second on 128.5 (75%) ahead of MARS_Marg and RSMP_Weighted on 125.5.

The outlying scores were sevens from Bookie Knows Best, MARS_Marg, and Consult the Ladder, and a five from Home Sweet Home.

The all-Tipster average score came in at 7.3 from 9, taking the season-long figure to 121.8 from 171 (71%).

Margin prediction was, on average, harder this week, with mean absolute errors (MAEs) ranging from MoSHPlay_Marg’s best of 21.7 points per game to Bookie_9’s worst of 29.6 points per game.

That performance dropped Bookie_9 from 1st to 5th and allowed Bookie_LPSO to take top spot, just over four goals agead of RSMP_Weighted. MoSHPlay_Marg remains in last place, but now by only just over 22 goals.

The all-Predictor average for the round was 24.4 points per game, which took the season-long figure to 25.1 points per game.

Log probability scores were all strongly positive this week, with the best from MoSHPlay_Prob and second-best from MoSHBODS_Prob.

Bookie_LPSO still holds top spot with MoSHBODS_Prob leaping into second and MoSHPlay_Prob into third ahead of Bookie_RE. MARS_Prob remains in last place.

WAGERING

The round started off with a near-perfect wagering record, but losses later in the round meant that the final profit for the week was more modest, but a profit nonetheless as all three Funds finished up on the week.

In aggregate, the Combined Portfolio rose by 1.8c to now be up by just under 20c on a +14% ROI and a 1.43 turn.
