/Eight of the nine early-week favourites secured the four points this round, and that was the score that every Head-to-Head Tipster recorded, which left Bookie Knows Best and ENS_Linear still tied for first and now on 115.5 from 153 (76%) and MARS_Marg still in outright 3rd and back on 112.5 (74%).
The all-Tipster average score came in at 8 from 9, taking the season-long figure to 108.7 from 153 (71%).
Margin prediction was, on average, about as hard this week as last, with mean absolute errors (MAEs) ranging from Bookie_LPSO’s best of 24.2 points per game to RSMP_Weighted’s worst of 27.4 points per game.
Bookie_9 still heads the Leaderboard, but now by just under five points from Bookie_LPSO, with Bookie_Hcap still in 3rd and now another 22 points further back. MoSHPlay_Marg remains in last place, but now by less than 30 goals.
The all-Predictor average for the round was 25.8 points per game, which took the season-long figure to 25.6 points per game.
Log probability scores were all strongly positive and very similar this week, with the best from MARS_Prob and the worst from Bookie_OE. Bookie_LPSO still holds top spot on the Leaderboard, with Bookie_RE in second, and MoSHBODS_Prob in third. MARS_Prob remains in last place.
WAGERING
After three weeks of losses, it was nice to turn in a profit this, albeit only a small one after the Dons’ capitulation to the Lions.
All three Funds finished in the black and, in aggregare, the Combined Portfolio rose by 0.4c to now be up by just over 11c on a +9% ROI and a 1.22 turn.
