FINAL WEEK

The Grand Final saw MoSSBODS take mean absolute error (MAE) honours for Game Margin and Away Team Scores, MoSHBODS do the same for Game Totals, and Sportsbet do the same for Home Team Scores.

None of which disturbed the lock that the TAB has had on the season-long lead for all four metrics, although MoSHBODS did go very close on Game Totals.

Those leads finish as follows:

Game Margins: the TAB 9 points ahead of Sportsbet, 166 points ahead of MoSHBODS, and 289 points ahead of MoSSBODS
Home Team Scores: TAB 26 points ahead of Sportsbet, 27 points ahead of MoSHBODS, and 130 points ahead of MoSSBODS
Away Team Scores: the TAB 42 points ahead of Sportsbet, 98 points ahead of MoSHBODS, and 139 points ahead of MoSSBODS
Game Totals: the TAB 2 points ahead of MoSHBODS, 27 points ahead of Sportsbet, and 61 points ahead of MoSSBODS

Wagering and Game-by-Game Performance

There was one bet last weekend, a successful overs bet with Sportsbet (thanks entirely to a fourth quarter avalanche of goals), which left MoSSBODS with a 19 and 19 season-long record against the TAB, and an 9 and 6 season-long record against Sportsbet.

MoSSBODS and MoSHBODS were on the right side of the TAB and Sportsbet in the Grand Final, which took MoSSBODS to 110 from 216 (51%) against the TAB and Sportsbet, and MoSHBODS to 122 from 216 (57%) against the TAB and 121 from 216 (56%) against Sportsbet.
