AFLW 2025 - Round 9 Results - Progression

WoSHBODS tipped 7 from 9 winners this week, and the bookmakers 7 also, which took WoSHBODS’ season-long record to 58 from 81 (72%).

WoSHBODS also recorded a Margin MAE of 22.4 points per game (compared to 19.8 and 20 for the bookmakers) and a Totals MAE of 13.9 points per game (compared to 14.6 and 14.7 for the bookmakers).

The LPS of +3.3 bits compares to +2.8 and +3 bits for the two bookmakers.

Overall, we’re now at 72% accuracy for the season, 24.0 Game Margin MAE, and 16.3 Totals MAE, and +14.7 LPS.

  • North Melbourne are yet to lose a Q2.

  • North Melbourne have outscored their opponents by roughly 2:1 or more in every quarter, and almost 8:1 in Q2s

  • North Melbourne, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney are the only teams to have outscored their opponents in every quarter

  • The only teams to have been outscored by their opponents in every quarter are still Collingwood, Essendon, Fremantle, Gold Coast, GWS, and Richmond.
