2025 - Round 12 Results - Not a Lot In It
/Five of the seven early-week favourites got up this week, and, with minimal contrarianism, this was the score registered by all but Home Sweet Home (three) and MoSSBODS_Marg (four).
That left MoSHPlay still three tips clear of the field and now on 78.5 from 105 (75%).
The all-Tipster score came in at 4.7 from 7, which took the season-long all-Tipster performance to 70.2 from 105 (67%).
Margin prediction was, on average, about 14.5 points per game harder this week, but easiest for Bookie_Hcap, whose mean average error (MAE) of 36.9 points per game was almost a whole point per game better than next best, Bookie_9’s 37.9 points per game. ENS_Linear recorded the second-worst MAE of 39.3 points per game, but still sits atop the Leaderboard, now just under 15 points ahead of MoSHPlay_Marg.
MoSSBODS_Marg was again this week’s worst at 39.6 points per game, and it remains in last place.
The all-Predictor average was 38.5 points per game, which left the season-long average at 28 points per game.
The round-by-round history of Margin Predictor rankings appears below.
Log probability scores were all positive and very similar for all forecasters this week, but slightly worst for MoSSBODS_Prob, which saw it slip into 4th place behind Bookie_LPSO.
MoSHPlay_Prob still sits atop the Leaderboard with MoSHBODS_Prob in second
